Apparently, Men Are Twice as Likely to Orgasm During Straight Sex as Women
The Story
A recent customer survey by the popular online sex education resource Beducated shines a light on the orgasm gap between men and women.
The new article features the results of a recent customer survey Beducated carried out on the
disparity found between men and women’s pleasure during partnered sex. Unfortunately, the results are not exactly surprising.
The Snapshot
The Beducated Customer Survey (June 2023) reports that men are almost twice as likely to orgasm regularly during straight sex as women (85% vs. 46%).
The Lesson
Sadly, the orgasm gap isn’t going to go anywhere unless couples communicate and get educated.
According to the data, the orgasm gap disappears when it comes to masturbation, so women clearly know what they need to get there. But without communicating those needs with a partner, progress is not going to be made. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. So if there’s any doubt, start talking.
It’s also worth noting that out of the 590 respondents in the Beducated Customer Survey, only 18 said their sex education curriculum dealt with sexual pleasure. With better, pleasure-focused sex education, people just might be able to start coming together (literally).
