Is Rihanna going to be a Bond girl? (Hint: We think she might be)
As if being FHM’s 3rd sexiest woman in the world this year wasn’t enough, Riri has apparently also set her sights on taking on one of the most iconic roles in cinema – a beautiful woman emerging from the ocean, slow-mo, in a revealing bikini during a James Bond film.
Lucky for us, very intelligent producers working on the next Bond film, cleverly codenamed Bond 24, have decided to make Rihanna’s dreams (and our dreams) come true. She’s been approached for a cameo and reportedly, she’s going to say yes.
The only sad news is that we’ll have to wait until the end of 2015 to see it. So, whilst we keep impatiently staring at our calendar, let’s all keep ourselves distracted with a bunch of other sexy Bond Girl hopefuls…
01 Amy Willerton
Our August 2014 cover star Amy Willerton is well known for her excellent bikini-wearing skills (see above), but the model doesn’t seem to be content with wowing us all in the I’m A Celeb jungle. She told us: “Imagine being a 60-year-old woman that can turn around and say, I was a Bond girl. I’d love that.” Us too, Amy. Us too.
02 Jenna Louise Coleman
Doctor Who’s right-hand woman also said she’d like to take a crack at the iconic role and thinks that filming her first Dr Who ep gave her plenty of practice. “I’d love to be a Bond girl,’ said Jenna. ” I did have my moment on the back of a motorbike. But we’ve got the goggles and a hat. It [was] Doctor Who’s take on James Bond.”
03 Kate Upton
“It’s a very prestigious title,” said Sports Illustrated model Kate a while back. “I would need to go through some intense training to learn all the Bond girl moves.” Queue all the men in the world lining up to offer their assistance…
04 Jessica Alba
Super sexy Jessica expressed how much of a Bond fan she was back in 2005. We definitely think she’s got what it takes.
05 Natalie Dormer
Even the elusive Queen of Thrones (and our latest covergirl) told BAFTA TV that she didn’t know who she thought should play the next Bond, but did say she’d love to play a Bond girl.
