We’ve been thinking… how long do guys actually last? So we asked you, our faithful readers, what your normal is. And the results, are well, pretty interesting indeed.

Over 4,000 people responded to our survey and you can see some of the results in an infographic below.

Despite what comedies like American Pie, the media or porn tells you about how long you should last, you’re probably doing just fine. Your partner likely doesn’t care as much as you do about it. How do we know? According to our survey, more than half of you (53%) have never been shamed for premature ejaculating.

“She’s normally glad she made me come so quick,” said one respondent. “She feels as though it’s a confidence booster.”

That’s a relief.

So if the pressure isn’t coming from your partner, where is it coming from? A smaller, but still significant percentage of respondents (35%) put the pressure on themselves despite their partner trying to reassure them and 39% believe they pop too quickly.

That’s unfortunate, but it’s good to know that there are more of you who are saying to yourselves, ‘hey, I’m doing just fine.’ The results show that 44% are confident their gun goes off at precisely the right time and 39% say they have the self-control to hold it longer for their partner. Bravo, guys.

Almost half the people who responded to our survey (46%) said they can get the job done in about 10 to 15 minutes. But if they’ve got a toy like a fleshlight on hand, they can come in just a few minutes or less.

“All depends on the position of the legs. If you’re laying down legs bent and feet near your butt it’ll take longer. Legs straight toes straight ahead will be quicker.”
