A couple have ended their whirlwind romance by tying the knot after just six months – but Gail Lafferty and Stephen Orco are no ordinary newyleds.

But, she says, before she could think about it, she asked if he, a widower of 16 years, wanted to see a movie – and he said yes.
Following that first date, they spent more time together, going out for dinner and getting to know each other.
“He’s not a couch potato,” Gail said. “He likes to get out and do things.”
The wedding between the former military woman and Air Force man seemed to come at the right time.

“‘My love is very strong for you, and I feel that we should maybe get married’.”
The duo, who are visiting San Francisco for their honeymoon, said they’re looking forward to “happy days” together.
“He’s just good through and through,” Gail said. “He treats me like a queen.”
