One in 9 males admit to having paid for intercourse, a survey suggests.
Dr Cath Mercer, of College School London, stated: ‘Males who pay for intercourse usually tend to be younger professionals, with many unpaid sexual companions.
‘These males report partaking in different dangerous sexual behaviours, akin to having concurrent – or overlapping – companions, so they need to be thought-about a core group for sexual well being interventions and providers.’
Intercourse tourism is flourishing, based on the research, with sixty two.6 per cent of males who purchased intercourse doing so outdoors the UK.
‘Paying for intercourse could seem extra permissible overseas, at a spot faraway from the day-to-day lives of most males,’ added the sexual well being professional.
