COULD the way you snooze be having a negative affect on your love life?
PILLOW TALK: Couples opened up about their trysts in an intimate survey
Sleep habits can say a lot about your relationship – including how often you have sex with your partner.
Apparently, couples who snooze in more intimate positions are likely to have a steamier love life.
So which bedroom routines make for regular sex?
A Mattress Advisor study polled 1,000 people on their sleep habits.
It found that the couples who dozed off touching one another had the most active sex lives.
Those who slumbered facing one another, with their legs intertwined, were revealed to be the randiest.
Spooning was the second sauciest position – as long as the man is the one acting as the protector.
Unfortunately, spooning is considered to be one of the most uncomfortable resting poses out there.
Men ranked this position as the second most annoying way to kip.
It was a similar story for women, who hated being the big spoon, followed by the little spoon.
Even though partners who touch while snoozing are likelier to be more intimate, couples favour sleeping with their backs to one another.
The majority of people prefer to leave a small gap between each other when they’re in this position.
The second most popular way to nod off is facing the same direction, with enough room between you to feel comfortable.
If you want to ignite the passion back into your relationship, it may be worth switching up your bedroom habits.
For those that find locking legs with their partner too uncomfortable, there are plenty more ways to spice up your love life.
Aphrodisiac foods are a great way to give your libido a boost.
Investing in some new lingerie, or even attending sex classes, can also help to shake-up your usual sex routine.
