“There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved” says Natalie Amyot on the Facebook page she has set up.

And in a story that could have been borrowed from a film, the young Parisian is very much on a quest to see if her fling was in fact “love at first sight”.

Filmed by the beach at Mooloolaba, on Australia’s sunshine coast, Natalie launches her appeal to find “the really cute guy” she met at a on the last night of her holiday.

That might have been it – except six weeks later, Natalie found out she was .

With no way to contact the father of her , and no family of her own, the mum-to-be made the dramatic and undeniably romantic decision of flying back to Australia to see if she could find him.

Imploring her audience to share the , she does not name the man in question during the clip nor on her Facebook page.

Natalie responded to the YouTube comments saying she has spent the last of her money trying to trace the mystery man

However, she describes him as 6ft tall, tanned and with blue with blond hair, saying “If he doesn’t want to know then that’s OK, but I really want to try and find him.”

The video has already generated a lot of interest and attention, with some comments suggesting her reluctance to name him publicly means it’s a hoax.

Whether or not this is a some sort of publicity stunt or one of the most hopelessly romantic gestures remains to be seen, and Natalie will continue her search for the man who made her feel “love at first sight.”
