The New Years Eve night out is always troublesome. The clubs are packed-out, the drinks quadruple in price and, past 12 o’clock, everyone just stops dancing to start an argument with their mobile phone signal.
So how do you make the most out of a night so laden with rubbishness? It’s quite simple: Just follow Michelle Keegans example and go all out.
Last November, we sat down with the ex-Coronation Street star to chat about the key to a good night out, and here’s what she had to say for herself:
“I wouldn’t call myself a party animal, but when I’m out, I’m out. I don’t go out too often, so when I’m out it’s like a big night, sometimes in Manchester or in London.”
“Me and the girls always call it The Hangover, because we can’t remember, we all split up, and end up on our own. We have no idea how we got home. Last time we went to London, the girls stayed in a hotel, and at the club one by one we split off from each other.”
“I was the last one, and because i was quite drunk I didn’t want to go out to the front of the club, so I was able to get out the back. Got home, went in the corridor, there was a shoe out there that belonged to my friend. Went in my friend’s room, she was on the bathroom floor, and my other friend was being sick in bed.”
“I went in my other room, where I was staying with another friend, and she was passed out. In the morning she pulled out a long leather glove from her clutch bag. I ended up sleeping in the lobby of the hotel. That’s how rock’n’roll I am”
